On Sunday we said goodbye to Sue after one more horsey ride. We were all amazed at how beautiful the Long Beach peninsula is and can understand why Sue moved there. We hope to visit again!

We had hoped to stop at the Hoh rainforest and arrive to our cabin by about 6:00 pm. As it turned out, we skipped the rain forest and still didn't arrive until after 7:00 pm. We are learning to plan on doubling the anticipated travel time. Fortunately, the kids rested in the car, so we had a nice dinner when we arrived and even got to swim in the hot springs before bed time.
