Wild

My friend Jeanne arrived today and it's so nice to see a friend and bit of Baltimore in Seattle. And, it was a beautiful sunny day! I just feel so much better on sunny days. Genna also had a big day - she stayed in the afternoon at school, then went on a playdate with about eight other little girls, then we had dinner with Jeanne and an early bedtime. The word that best describes Genna today is wild. She was on the edge of a meltdown a couple of times, but my cleverly honed mommy-techniques prevented a total disaster. We'll see if I'm still successful tomorrow. Genna is a few hours behind on her sleep this week, and it's only Tuesday.
